Not Domino’s special pizza for the pure of heart |
Domino’s Pizza Japan, is currently advertising a pizza that is only visible to those with “pure hearts and minds” as part of an interesting April Fools’ Day marketing campaign
The Domino’s Pizza Japan official website currently has a page dedicated to this mysterious and totally ‘invisible’ pizza. Below is a translation of the text found on the website.
As of April 1st, there’s a new item on the Domino’s Pizza menu. It’s a mysterious pizza that is only visible to those with pure and clean hearts. It is called “The pizza that is only visible to those with pure hearts.”
This item is only available for purchase online.
The official website even has a button that you can click to “place your order” (pictured below).

However, clicking on this button does not take you to a checkout page, instead it causes the text displayed to change. And each time you click on it the text displayed on the button changes yet again, until finally you get a screen offering you an apology and a 401 JPY off coupon, which you can use on an actual, real, not invisible pizza. Below you’ll find translations of the text that comes up each time you click on the button.
- 0 clicks – Place your order here.
- After 1st click – Do you see it?
- After 2nd click – Really?
- After 3rd click – I am a person with a pure heart.

- After 5th click – Do you truly see it?
