A man in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture was arrested for forcibly taking another man on a roughly 1 kilometer long ride on the hood of his car.
According to police, at around 12:30 AM on December 27th, Nobuhiro Kaneko, 52-years old, got into an argument with a 26-year old man on a highway in Saitama City’s Minuma Ward. At some point during the argument Keneko got into his car and attempted to leave. In response, the younger man got in front of Kaneko’s car in an attempt to stop him. However, instead of waiting for the younger man to get out of his way police say that Kaneko accelerated forward, ending up with the younger man on top of the hood of his car. Kaneko drove along the road for about 1 kilometer before the younger man was thrown off of the car and onto the ground. The younger man is reported to have sustained injuries to his head.
Police arrested Kaneko under suspicion of attempted murder. Kaneko explained to police that the argument was due to problems related to a woman and that he had no intention of killing the man. Police are investigating.
Whoever these guys were fighting over must either be very happy or horribly embarrassed. If I had to pick though, I’d say she’s probably pretty embarrassed.
