Harry Potter, Final Fantasy and Sailor Mooon all in the same place.
As part of an ongoing effort to promote Japanese video game and anime properties around the world, Osaka’s Universal Studios Japan (USJ) will soon be opening up attractions based on the massively popular anime series Sailor Moon and the classic video game franchise Final Fantasy.
USJ began doing team-ups with popular Japanese entertainment franchises in 2015 when they started their Universal Cool Japan initiative. Thanks to this program fans of popular anime franchises such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan and Detective Conan, along with fans of the Resident Evil and Monster Hunter video games, have had the opportunity to enjoy attractions based on these beloved properties.

On January 19th USJ will be opening up its Final Fantasy attraction, along with upgraded versions of Monster Hunter and Detective Conan. As for the Sailor Moon attraction, that is not set to open until the spring, so Sailor Moon fans, it looks like you’ll just have to wait patiently until then.
Although details about the exact nature of these attractions have yet to be released, USJ has already announced that all of these four attractions will only run until June 24th, so you better start planning your trip to Japan now if you hope to experience them for yourself.
