The term “copycat” seems pretty appropriate here.
A Japanese comedian is getting quite a bit of attention online for his impression of what may be one of the most famous cats in the world.
Made to promote the NHK sketch comedy show LIFE!, the video below shows the Japanese comedian Murotsuyoshi sliding head first into an open box just like Maru, a Scottish Fold living in Japan who last year was declared the animal with the most views on YouTube.
Since its release earlier this month, the video has managed to rack up almost 200,000 views. Although that’s still a long ways off from Maru’s almost 400 million total views, 200k is still pretty impressive for a single video.
