Forever PPAP: X Japan’s Yoshiki And PPAP’s Pikotaro Team Up! (Video)

The most sentimental rendition of PPAP yet.

Leader and co-founder of the legendary Japanese rock band X Japan has posted a video to his Instagram account in which he teams up with Pikotaro to create one of the most haunting and hilarious renditions of PPAP yet.

The video below was posted to Yoshiki’s Instagram page on Monday (Sept. 4) and it shows Yoshiki on the piano playing the classic X Japan song “Forever Love.” However, rather than the regular lyrics, Pikotaro can be heard singing a heartfelt rendition of last year’s viral sensation, PPAP. The video is a small excerpt from a live broadcast Yoshiki did on September 3 on the Japanese video sharing website, Nico Nico Doga.
