Have you ever seen a movie with a scene in which the main character sticks his or her head out of the window of a moving car? Usually, these scenes are supposed to be symbolic, involve artistic shots and touching music. In other words, they tend to be rather serious scenes. However, what if that character suddenly took a pie to the face in the middle of their very dramatic scene? The popular Japanese YouTuber Sushi Ramen Riku has the answer to that question in the form of an amusing video.
The video below begins with Sushi Ramen Riku talking about how he has gotten hit in the face with many pies in his life and he thinks that a pie to the face has the power to ruin the ambience and mood of any situation. He then explains that because of this he began to wonder how a pie to the face would impact a serious movie scene, like one of those sequences where a character sticks his head out of the window of a movie car.
Although it takes Riku a few tries, he eventually succeeds, so make sure to watch to the end of the video, especially if you want to see his ‘cinematic’ edit of this silly drive-by pie to the face experiment.
