This guy really loves Splatoon.

Thanks to the theme song to the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch game Splatoon 2 having been revealed well in advance of the game’s July 21 release, this catchy rock song has already managed to become quite a hit with many Splatoon fans, including the popular Japanese YouTuber Daichi, who earlier this year used his beatboxing skills to create an impressive cover of the appropriately titled “Inkoming.”

Check out Daichi’s ‘inkredible’ rendition of “Inkoming” in the video below.

The Splatoon 2 soundtrack, much like the soundtrack for the original Splatoon game was composed by Toru Minegishi, who is well-known for his work on a long list of popular Nintendo games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, and Mario Kart 7. However, within the world of Splatoon “Inkoming” is credited to the five-piece Inkling rock band, Wet Floor.

If you want more Splatoon beatboxing goodness, then check out the video below, which features Daichi performing the theme to the original Wii U Splatoon game.
