You’ll want to save a Phoenix Down for when the divorce comes.

Due to its status as one of the most popular video game franchises of all time, fans of the Final Fantasy series have been treated to all kinds of tie in merchandise and events over the years. However, it looks like in 2019 fans are going to get one of the most interesting tie ins yet: the ability to have a wedding ceremony and reception straight out of a Final Fantasy game.

The product of a collaboration between Final Fantasy publisher Square Enix and Deuxzero, a wedding venue in the city of Kobe that specializes in “dramatic cinema weddings,” this Final Fantasy-themed wedding plan promises to let couples declare their undying love for one another in a real-life version of the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding from the online multiplayer roleplaying game Final Fantasy XIV.

Couples who decide to take the plunge with the Final Fantasy XIV Wedding Plan won’t have to worry about what they’re going to wear, since the plan comes with recreations of the clothes used by players participating int he Ceremony of Eternal Bonding. Known as Garments of Devotion in the game, these clothes consist of an elegant white high-collared tuxedo for the groom and a luxurious white gown with long sleeves, ornate shoulder coverings and various accessories for the bride.

The plan will also include a fully catered reception, which is sure to feature at least a few items inspired in some way by the Final Fantasy games. One can only hope that a full course meal featuring an entree of roast Chocobo is in the works.

Square Enix and Deuxzoro have yet to reveal further details about the wedding plan, including just how much it will cost Final Fantasy fans to throw a real life version of a virtual ceremony modeled after a real-life ceremony. However, the companies have announced a special Valentine’s Day event where they are planning to release more information. Actress and entertainer Moga Mogami is scheduled to make an appearance at the event, no doubt as the model for the bride’s gown.

Although no exact date for when the Final Fantasy XIV Wedding Plan will begin to be offered has been given yet, it seems likely that the companies are shooting for for late spring, so they don’t miss the June wedding season.
