What would the internet be without cat videos?
Recently a cat in Japan got quite a bit of attention on Twitter for the interesting way in which she likes to wake up her owner.
Tweeted out on June 27 by Twitter user @MyFriendMimi, this video shows a female cat named Mimi doing something that most people would probably find to be extremely annoying… if a human were to do it. However, since it’s a cat, it ends up being pretty cute.

According to the text @MyFriendMimi included in her tweet, snapping that rubber hair band she wears around her wrist is what Mimi does every morning to wake her up. Given that we have this video, it seems like Mimi’s tactic is pretty effective, so good job Mimi. Let’s just hope Mimi doesn’t get carried away and end up snapping bras and the elastic waistbands of underwear.
