| Like 2001: A Space Odyssey, but in Tokyo |
Wowlab, the experimental design unit of the Tokyo based visual design studio WOW, has put out a mind-bending 360° video that takes viewers on a trip through Tokyo that at times might make you feel like you’re having an out of body experience.
Released last week via the video sharing website Vimeo, this new video, titled Tokyo Light Odyssey, shows off some amazing night time imagery of the skyscrapers, cars and trains of Tokyo.
This stunning video was created as a way of showing off “Beyond Motion Graphics,” a project with the goal of “experiencing new possibilities for motion graphics.”
Although you should use a VR headset in order to get the full impact of this video, it’s still pretty trippy without one. Just make sure to watch it in full-screen.
