Police investigators looking into the discovery of a human leg in a field in
Nagano Prefecture were able to find the rest of the body and identify it. On
November 28th police were identified the body as 36-year old Yayoi Saito, a
company worker from Yamanashi Prefecture.
According to police, Saito lived alone in Yamanashi
Prefecture. However, someone who knew Saito had gone to police on the 27th and
requested that they search for him. Police have yet to release a cause of death.
Saito was found clothed but without shoes or a wallet. He showed no visible
injuries. Police suspect that the body was buried in the field a few days before
its discovery.
