Police in Nagano Prefecture have arrested a 62-year-old man who allegedly threw urine at a woman in an Azumino City supermarket.

According to the Nagano Prefectural Police Department, on June 19, at about 7:20 p.m., the suspect, a part-time worker (place of work unspecified) named Shouji Notake, threw urine that he was carrying in what is thought to have been a plastic bottle used for pouring soy sauce at a woman in her 50s who was shopping at the Azumino City supermarket.

Notake was arrested under suspicion of having assaulted the female shopper. He has admitted to the charges.

In June of 2015 Notake was arrested for a similar incident, in which he threw urine at two female high school students in a supermarket also in Azumino City.

It has not been revealed whether Notake used his own urine or what his motive was.
